Merry Christmas to the children in foster care!

Becky Warriner (a Child Support worker contracted through Veritas) and her husband Marty have a heart for the children in foster care! Several years ago they donated two bikes for special Christmas presents. As they have shared this ministry opportunity with friends and family, the number of donations has increased each year! Christmas 2016 has found 18 bikes and 9 helmets under the Polk DSS Christmas tree awaiting delivery to some very special children.
Santa visited the monthly Foster / Resource parent meeting training last evening. One of the little ones told Santa all he wanted was a bike! Well, Santa will be able to fulfill his wish!
The pictures above show several of the DSS staff with some of the bikes!
Many thanks to Becky and Marty for choosing to partner with the agency while investing in the children! - Lou Parton, Director, Polk County DSS
