Information Only - The Board Retreat has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at 5:00pm in the Womack Courtroom for the Department Head presentations, and Saturday, January 10, 2009, at 9:00 for the remaining discussions. The Saturday meeting will be held in the Library at Sunny View Elementary School. 7. Approval of 2009 Polk County Government Holiday Schedule - The dates are in your packet. 8. Schedule Public Hearing for January 20, 2009, to hear public comment on entering into the installment financing contracts in order to finance the purchase of the Carolina Classical School to be used for the Senior Center. Citizen Comments. 9. Schedule Tax Appeal Petition Meeting - The information on the appeal is in your packet. I suggest scheduling the meeting at 6:00pm on January 20th, prior to the regular meeting.
